Additional Access Information
We understand road closures can be inconvenient. Access is managed by Parklife traffic management stewards under the direction of Event Control, Greater Manchester Police, and safety teams. Stewards will maintain resident access wherever it is safe, so please carry your permit or proof of address when returning home.
Our teams on the ground will always do their best to assist residents in reaching their homes when it is safe to do so. During peak egress periods, there may be times when vehicles are temporarily held at junctions until pedestrian flow has reduced enough to allow safe access. Pedestrian access will always be maintained, and residents can park nearby and walk home if needed.
Some roads, including cul-de-sacs off Scholes Lane and Bury Old Road, should be approached via specific routes to maximise access, please follow the guidance below.
Residents of Parking Permit Zone D
Access will be retained throughout the road closure periods for residents living within permit zone D (Sheepfoot Lane, Middleton Road, Bury Old Road triangle).
